About Halliday

We help nonprofits make sense of their own data

Because the problem isn't that you don't have data. It's that nobody's connecting it.

Client Relationships

Your day-to-day relationship lead. She's who you'll talk to — keeping your website running, checking in before a deadline sneaks up, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Why we started Halliday

Every nonprofit we've worked with has the same story: donor records in one system, program data in another, grant deliverables in a third — and no way to see the full picture. Leadership makes decisions based on gut instinct because nobody's connected the dots across their data.

We started Halliday because we kept seeing organizations with years of valuable data and no structured way to learn from it. Not because they lacked the will — because they lacked a partner who understood both the data and the mission.

That's the gap we fill. We bring 20+ years of data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics experience to the nonprofit sector — not to sell technology, but to help organizations see what their data is already trying to tell them.

How we think about the work

Most clients start with us by getting a professional website built and run for them — one less thing to think about, and a standing relationship with a real person who knows your organization. When you're ready to go further, that same relationship is the door into the data work: turning what you already have into decisions you can act on.

We're technology-agnostic. When an off-the-shelf tool solves your problem, we'll say so. When it doesn't, we build what does — matched to how your organization actually runs, not retrofitted to someone else's software.

We deliver with the help of a small, AI-powered team — not because it's the headline, but because it lets us keep these engagements personal and hands-on instead of bloating into something impersonal.

Built for how nonprofits actually operate

We know nonprofits operate with small teams, tight budgets, and high accountability to funders and communities. Our work is designed for that reality — not for some idealized scenario with an IT department and a six-figure software budget.

How we work

  • Listen first

We learn about your organization, your data, and your goals before we suggest anything. There's no standard solution to recommend without that context.

  • Recommend only what creates leverage

Not every problem needs a custom solution. We'll tell you when a simpler approach works — and when it won't.

  • Build for your team

The best solution is the one your team will actually use. We design around your real constraints — staff capacity, technical comfort, budget.

  • Transfer knowledge, not dependency

When we're done, your team understands the system and can manage it independently. We document everything and train thoroughly.
